Lighting period

I currently run my 150w MH over my aquapod for 11hours, what is everyones opinion on the length to leave them on especially with SPS corals

I run 2 250watt with 20k xm bulbs. I run mine from 10:30am to 9:30pm, have ran them like this for a long time. Works for me, and i have no other supplementary lighting except for moonlights.

HQI 8 hrs.

Actinics on an hour before and an hour longer

Absolutly

Really only need 4-5 hrs. HQI IMO.
