Thermal adhesive
I considering a large LED array, but dont want to tap 100's of LED's I saw a link to some themal adhesive tape in the LED thread but now I can't find it. Who has used it, is strong, wold you recomend it?

Might I suggest that you ask these questions in one of the established LED threads? That helps other people find information later on.
There are two options for the tape. You can buy it precut for LED stars, or in sheets. Sheets is probably a bit cheaper, and available at digikey: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/Dk...name=BER159-ND It's plenty strong, but not quite as good at conducting heat as screws and good thermal paste. When you use it, push down HARD (not directly on the LED, but on the star around it - it's easy to damage the LED's built-in lens) for a good 10 - 20 seconds. This ensures best thermal performance and strength.
