"Cronies"? I prefer the term "illegal child labor" Believe it or not, it has been a poor year for recruits. I have a small crew and lost some of my more knowledgable ones. That said, I have a few frags and a suprise or two...

Raffles are fun... buy a few tickets put them in boxes, or whatever.

On the other hand, Auctions are more about the excitement of the moment. My wife and I still talk about the good bidding wars we have gotten into at the auctions. Did my wife pay a little too much for a torch coral one day? Maybe. But she will always have the satisfaction of knowing she beat out some other girl for it. Its fun that way.

Sorry Eddie, it looks like I will only have ~$500 in local fish store gift certificates to raffle off for this month's meeting. I hope that works for people.
