Need Expierienced Advice
Hello I have been in a bit of a crashed tank situation..... I have some zoos, green star polyps, Pulsing Xenia, and polyps. They are not taking off and I plan this tank to be an LPS/Softie tank. The tank had a huge GHA algea Take off but i have fixed that through water changes,Skimming, and Phosphate Media. Also I had a huge problem with crushed coral in my Sand bed about a month ago so I had to Take all of my sand out and get that C.C out, it made large black pits. But now I think I am Thourghly Set up and ready.
What's Your Advice? for LPS and Softie tank Am I well prepared and set up? Here is all my info, Paras' Equip. To Reef Central Welcome to the site Matt. Your setup sounds pretty good. The only thing that jumped out at me is your source water. Are you using an RO/DI, tap water, or water from the store? Any non-purified water can be suspect and cause algae outbreaks. |

That setup sounds fairly reasonable, although the SeaClones don't get particularly good reviews.

hi-matt
looks good, but id do a 10% weekly water change rather than bi-weekly, and imo you can reduce the light on times for the pcs to 10 hours max To Reef Central
