Just put in a green shroom and have a question
i just put it on a rock, but it still has some of the substrate from the tank it came from, how can i go about getting that off of it so it can grasp to the rock with no problem?

'shrooms are pretty hardy. I gently rub off the sand/gravel with my finger then put it in a mesh bag with a small piece of LR. The 'shroom will attach in a few days then i glue the small piece of LR with the 'shroom on it where i want it. I've done it this way many times and have never lost one. Good luck.

I would just glue the sand and all to a rock. The shroom can slowly move off anyway if it is really unhappy. I have tied them on with fishing line before as well
