Strange white...spores? - What is it
I have a 54 corner with a sump, oversized skimmer and Uv light. no carbon or GFO, yet....
Tank has been going well, and regular water changes with RO/DI water, and nitrates below 20, phosphates below .5, and I am getting what you see in this picture... I don't know what it is...but it is coming up everywhere in my live rock. I used to be getting good coraline algae, but now and I am getting this "dust" and this spores you can see in the photos in a few spots. Any ideas on where and how it is coming in? I have good flow, and it is still growing!! I have scrubbe them off the live rock with a brush and RO/DI water, and they just come back?? |
