Anyone keep chaeto in a plastic container?

I am thinking about trying to grow some chaeto in a plastic container as I dont have room in my sump for a refug and dont want it in my DT. I have a light that for my sump I could use, but just wanted to see if anyone has successfully done this.

No problem. I have a 55g tank for a sump which is pretty deep, so I used cable ties to hang a small plastic container from the center brace and the chaeto grows there right under a cfl light.
