Rimless Tanks Dangerous?
Hi all,
I saw a rimless Oceanic Illuminata 57 gallon at my fish store, 36x18x21, and it looked fantastic, but the rimless scares me pretty bad. Is it any less safe than the same tank, but with rims on it? I don't want my tank to bust and lose all of my coral... If it's a big deal I can definitely just go with a rimmed version. Thanks!! |

It most likely has thicker glass since it rimless, does it have 3/8'' glass.

A large company like Aqueon isn't going to put out a tank that they don't feel is safe... There's nothing to worry about.
