Girgle
Hello
My overflow box does an almost constant girgleing sound that is rather iritating  . is this normal for a begging set up or can I fix it. The overflow looks something likehttp://www.melevsreef.com/prime_overflow.htmlPlease replay back it is driving me mad

I made one of these and it worked great....
http://home.everestkc.net/jrobertson57268/HGB/ You might have to adjust the height of the PVC with the holes depending on the flow rate of your overflow |

There are various mechanism for making overflows quieter. The Durso standpipe is one such idea. There's also the Hofer gargle buster. Google should turn up some products.
