Texas Trash Paly Is the devil!
Ive been trying to rid my system of this paly for 6 months. Its not going that well. Ive gotten most of it, but it just keeps coming back. I Kalk out small sections. A new Paly shows up across the tank.
If someone offers you this, even if its free. RUN!!!! I bought a cool rock of it for 10 bucks and well, I regret it. It torpedoed my 29 Biocube when I tried to trim it back and ****ed it off. Trust me. its a large brown with a blueish center paly, kinda cool redish color under some light. but it grows like a weed. I started with about 40 Polyps, and within 5 months had close to 200. It spreads like wild fire and is amazingly toxic. dont do it. really. youll regret it. I do. |

I know the stuff. It was over taking my tank. Then I broke down the tank to replace the DT and sump. Had a bunch of rock with TX Trash and Green Ricordia. All the Ricordia is dead and tank had huge Ammonia spike. Guess what's still ticking?
