Water flow Switch

I am looking to get switch that I can run before my RO water inlet side to let me cut off the RO water with a float switch.
Where can I buy this unit?
This is so I don't keep flooding my basement when the RO water gets left on!
Thanks
Brooks

I've been using this for the past couple of years with no accidents since.

Is that on your inlet side or out-put side of the RO System?

The soleniod is on the output side. Once the float switch which is mounted in your RO reservior engages, the resulting pressure causes the soleniod to stop the flow of water through the system.

If you are set on a soleniod prior to the unit, I believe the filterguys sells a switch that can be put on a standard timer. I'm not sure if it could be connected to a float sensor or not.

Here's a link to the soleniod at the filter guys. It can be connected to a controller.

I can stop it from over flowing with a standard switch on the output side but then the waste water will still be flowing which cause alot of water to be wasted because water will still be flowing into the RO unit. So the switch will have to be on the input side before the water even gets to the unit.
Thanks
Brooks

I just traced my water lines on my unit. The solenoid is after the prefilters and before reaching the membrane so there is not waste water wasted. i can hear my unit running when I take water out of the reservior and once it's filled it shuts off the water and becomes silent again.
