Does the input pipe fitting come built in like in the picture? What size is it?

One more PM Bullet 1 question

The room in my sump is tight. Could I just have the drain as in coming from the skimmer or should I put a 90 degree elbow and point it down? I originally had a gate valve but that was taking up too much space in my sump. Also on the Precision Marine website it says when starting up to raise and lower the elbow the raise or lower the water in the skimmer. What is the elbow. I know where the air valvs is but that seems to be the only thing I can adjust.

Box, how far does that attachment bracket extend out? Is it only for glass? I'd love to use this on my stock tank when I first set up my system to catch sand and other debris, but it would need awfully long screws to move that attachment wide enough to hold to my sump.

No, I didn't mean how long vertically. How far horizontally can the back of the bracket open up to secure the thing to the tank? The lip on my stock tank is like 2" or so, maybe 3".
