What is a marinelife c-360? I even did a Google search on it and nothing turned up.
We will need a lot more info about the tank. water parameters, inhabitants, age of tank, filtration, etc.

MarineLand C-360, I think. Nice enough canister -- have one on my 58g freshwater planted tank, where low flow, poor oxygenation potential, and really PITA cleaning procedure aren't really big issues....sorry, but I really can't even bear the thought of dealing with a canister on a marine tank.
Green water is caused by light and nutrients. Light: make sure the tank has a normal sort of photoperiod -- no more than 12 hours of lights on each day. Lights should be on a timer to ensure this. Nutrients: Ammonia and nitrite should be zero. If any higher, there is a big immediate issue with biological fitration/overstocking/overfeeding/etc that needs to be addressed. At minimum, water changes of 10% should be done weekly (with experience, you can get on a different w/c routine). If the tank is new (<3 months, let's say), let us know that so we can give advice for new tank cycle.
