Anenome attacking hydnophora
my bta seems to be getting aggressive toward my hydnophora which sits above and to the very outside of it. WOndering if the coral will be able to withstand the anenome as I have already seen it put out it's deffensive white tentacles out the bottom. Or should I go ahead and move it?

heh, do not underestimate the hydnophora's power when it puts out the filaments.
i would wager that would be an epic battle. both are pretty spunky players. i tested about every coral combo i had to see how they play, but i got away from anemones, so other than a few burning a path as they moved(carpet, condy, ritteri) i have no clue how anemones do against the aggressive stony corals

I have an RBTA fighting an unwanted hydnophora colony in my reef. The 'nem found a hole it liked right by the hydno. I was worried because I have had several SPS and LPS frags digested by the parent hydno colony. No worries... the RBTA is stronger than the hydno, it's made a little discolored "no-man's-land" on the rock between them by flopping its tentacles in that direction. I am sure if it decided to get up and move, it could lay waste to the hydno if it wanted to!

If you like it, move it. RBTA vs almost anything is a 1st round knockout for the RBTA. Grab on to the bta for a few minutes, aggravate it, and see who wins that battle

I would be willing to bet the anemone will just move, unless it ends up killing the frag first.
