Do-not order these lights...I had a friend that just recently ordered them and he ended up tanking them off his tank and re-selling them. The reason was, he said they didnt work well at all. Just some Info.

I dont think it would work.
1- It would only amount to a total of 69 watts. A rule of thumb when it comes to lighting is at least 4 watts per gallon for a reef tank. So you would only have enough wattage for a 17 gallon tank. And I am assume a 6 foot tank is at least a 125 which would require at least 500 watts for light intense corals. 2- It only has a 6000-7000k rating you really need at least 10,000k for a reef tank. It would maybe only work on a fish only tank. |
