Calcium reactor effluent control
I have a GEO 624 that comes with a black micro ball valve on the end of the effluent line. It constantly clogs which is reeking havoc on my tanks alkalinity and making it impossible to dial in long term. Since ensuring the entire valve stays under water I've found it takes longer to clog, but it's still good for only a week or so.
What do you use to keep the effluent flowing? |

That is weird, It should not clog that quickly. Have the effluent flow into a bottle or cointainer placed in your sump. It should then overflow from the bottle into your sump.
You can also monitor your PH easier that way as well. |

Hi Xgames. Do you use a needle valve to control your effluent before it goes into the bottle?
