heater control through rkl

hello, just a quick question. If i want to run my heaters through my reef keeper lite, do i need to adjust the heater rheostat higher than my target so that it will not interfere with the rkl control?

Thanks!

Yes, you set your heater's thermostat to just a little bit higher than what you're going to have your RKL at.
