ice cap reef illumination any reviews out there?

Anyone have feed back on these yet? how well do the led's work and is the moonlighting good? thanks

There was a thread about the T5/MH combo last week but it was only pitcures of the unit out of the box.He said he will be setting it up in a week or so nothing on how it preformed. Nice looking fixture im lookin into the T5 unit myself guess we will just have to wait....

BTW how much "light" does the LED tube put out?

I've seen both of these in-person. I personally like the T5/LED version more. Both of them look awesome and the LEDs are well worth the money. JMO

My sister has one and they are terrible. The MH lamps are too far apart so they leave a big shadow down the middle of her rimless tank (look at the pictures and you'll notice that it looks weird). Plus the t5 ballast was busted out of the box and she has not been happy with ice cap customer service. Take a look at the picture of the unit; some pictures make it look very sleek but other pictures don't. The thing is huge. I expect this product to be off the market in a few months.

Take everything you read with a grain of salt. Not the same experience I have had. I'm getting very even light distribution.
