Super Reef Octopus XP-2000 Cone Skimmer vs MSX MiniS

I am setting up a 90gl ( been out of the hobby for a bit) sps tank and am debating between these two skimmers. Looks like main difference is the pump. Some help deciding wold be great

i dont know these skimmers (being in SA we get to know about them last) but in my experience a pump can make all the difference.. can you post pictures or links of the skimmers..

I just got an xp 2000 cone. I was also debaing between the mini-s and the octo cone but in the end i got the octopus because of the pump. The Sicce pump with the Mini-s has many issues with start up and noise. Ive had the octo cone set up for one day so cant really comment about it. I let it run one day with diluted vinegar. So far so good . Still breaking in but making a good head of foam and the rx chamber appears to be not turbulent. I have it on heavily stocked 70 gallon running in 7" of water. It is squeeezed into my sump with very little clearance. Some people said the skimmer was noisy but Ive had octopus recirc skimmer in the past and this cone is quieter. The vortech makes more noise than this skimmer. It is built well but the mini-s is made from thicker acrylic. Thicker acylic is nice but I decided that the pump was most important. Besides, most skimmers dont get moved around much so no need for thick acrylic.
