questions about MRC 2R and 3R
Do anyone have wither of these skimmers? I am looking to upgrade my skimmer when I get my new tank, and am thinking of the 2R. I would like to know what people think of this skimmer? I am wondering about efficiency, noise level, maintenance, mods possible or recommended. I know about the extension tube mod and that aspect really appeal to me (I like that the skimmer can grow with the system if needed, instead of buying a completely new skimmer). Do anyone recommend a skimmer with similar specs (recirc, external and volume load) that would be better than this skimmer? Any additional information would be great. Personal experience is truly appreciated. Thanks.
