Solar Fairy wrasse with shrimp?
I am thinking about getting one of these guys for my 60 cube and I am wondering if I will have a problem with him bothering or killing my blood shrimp. I seen in one of the books they are cautioned. Do I have anything to worry about. Thanks

Should be fine.
Only this biggest baddest fish eat cleaners anyway, and that is somewhat uncommon.

I'm pretty sure all fairy/flasher wrasses are safe with shrimp. They may possibly go for tiny ones like sexy shrimp, but peppermint/camel and larger should be fine.
My red coris wrasse, on the other hand, put an end to my fire and cleaner shrimp when he was still a 3.5" juvenile. He's approaching 5" now and I/ve been shrimpless in my tank for a long time now ![]() |
