Which heater? Thinking Finnex
Time to upgrade a heater for my 75, which I'd liek to use the same heater when I get my 120...Used a Jager for 5 years now, think it is time.
I really don't want to go big $'s... WHich Finnex The Digital will run me around $40 Titanium with HC810 controller $85 I'm heavily leaning towards the Digital model or just go with another Jager?

Do you use a controller? I would never trust the heaters thermostat, way too amny failures. I would pick up a single stage ranco(used will save some$$) and 2 smaller jagers. That way if one of the heaters fails you still have one working.

No controller, that's why I was thinking of the digital one...I've always been "ok" with not using a controller except for two Wons (when they first came out) that went bad. Ebo has been a workhorse, but I think it might be time.

Oops, 300w or 500w? I'm thinking 500w. 75g with 30g sump(maybe 15g in sump).
Bigger is better, correct?
