Vid on youtube from ipsf.com they painted the inlet side of a power filter>?

I don't really see how that could be safe but I may be wrong, i wanted everyone else's opinion, they used krylon fusion paint, the same paint they painted the backside of the tank with. It actually looked quite impressive, and I ahve a HOB overflow box, which is black so I was thinking of painting mine blue to match the background, is this safe?

Do you have a link? I have used Krylon fusion on my overflow plumbing on my rimless tank and haven't had any problems.
