T5/VHO wiring question

I have 4 T5 atenics now. Can't remember ballast but I'm not sure it's relevant to this question. Can I replace the T5 endcaps with VHO and keep the same wiring? I guess I do need to know the ballast but will the same ballast that is currently running my T5s run VHO or do you need to know the ballast make to know if it will work? (I don't know if one ballast would run both types of bulbs.) Thanks.

If you have an Ice Cap 660 you can run VHO/T5's in any combination for a max total of 4 bulbs and 440 watts.
