emerald crab pestering my RBTA

My RBTA has been looking odd the last couple of days. it stays withdrawn and the tenticles are smaller. I fed it this morning and it ate well, but as soon as i gave it the food, my emerals crab tried to steal it!

I am wondering if the crab has been harrassing the bubble tip?

Sounds like a starving emerald crab....you need to feed that poor thing Seriously. Target feed some shrimp pellets or some small particles of meaty foods where the crab can get it. What would you eat if you were starving?????

thanks Nanook, I'll try throwing a bit of food in for the crab. I was told they were strict herbivors (sp?), but he does eat meat!!

About once a week I take some diced frozen tilapia and target feed my starfish. At the same time, I wedge a few small pieces under the rocks where my crabs hide. Its always gone the next morning.
