frag tank
Im going to change my bulbs on my frag tank, I just have a 20 k and a 10 k 48 in HO t5, Any thought out there on just 2 10 bulbs for more groth, or do I need the 20 k as well?

its just a frag tank, Id go for growth, not personal viewing pleasure.

they say 10k gives faster growth due to the relationship between algae and coral growth, since algae needs more red light. but 20k will give you better color since the coral will absorb whatever color is available.

i've seen frag tanks where half was 10k and then once they grew out good they switched them to the 20k for color up.
