little white shrimp looking things in my sump??

i have these little white shrimp looking things in my sump i do not see them in my tank, i will try to get a pic of them but anyone have an idea what they may be? good or bad? any help will be great thanks

Are they stuck to your glass, or mobile?

If they are on the glass, they are probably sponges. If thats the case, they are excellent for your tank

hi are these good or bad? and they are not attached they are on my foam filter pad and what eats them?

They are a natural part of your system. They are in the main tank too, you probably just don't notice them because they are in among the rocks. Try using a flashlight at night when your lights are off and you will see all sorts of activity on your rockwork.

If they look like miniature shimp and swim around and are clear they could be mysid shimp, but if their white don't know what they would be.

mysis shrimp are freshwater, mysid are saltwater shrimp.

The answer to your question..........regardless of the particular type of inverts you are seeing, is that they are good. It means your tank is maturing nicely.

Just about all fish will eat these given the chance.
