I am home any night this week

just make sure you have enough room for this as it is pretty tall. Will get an exact measurement shortly.

Here is the exact skimmer:

http://www.aquacave.com/detail.aspx?ID=1325

it is 30 inches tall and requires zero clearance to remove the cup.

Uuugh, too tall. I have about 25.5" clearance and that is cutting it close.

There is a guy selling the rs180 on the selling forum for the same price, or take a look at levichars.

You have to be approved to access the selling forums. I think it's a combination of time on the boards and number of posts.

Good luck,
Kevin

With him it's going to be the 50/90 rule. You can't even see the selling forum unless you have both 50 posts and a member for 90 days.

I could fit the 250 in my stand....

Ray, does it take the same footprint as the 180 I just got off you? If so I have plenty of room for it, although I did pay 240 I would be willing to trade for the 250 and you can have the 180 with the eggcrate stand for it and sell to yinzer? I did redo the elbow off the pump to lower the skimmer about 1/2inch and tuck against the housing so I didn't need flex hose but I do still have it if yinzer would need it. I can take it out of sump and meet you at your office tomorrow afternoon with it if you want.

Yinzer, would you be interested?

Ray would you be interested?

Yep, same footprint and same pump, it is just 6 inches taller.

I am up for that if he is.

I will not be in the office until Friday though.

Ok.

I will bring the 250 to work with me on Friday for the exchange.

I will be around Friday night if you want to pick up the 180.

Sounds good. I have it running right now, so will pull it out friday morning and clean it up a bit and bring it with me.

Ray, I will give you a call when I pull in the lot, prob around 4 on friday, if way earlier or later I will ring you.

Yinzer, I made a egg crate stand since it has the upgraded pump that hangs lower than the smaller original. I have my sump baffles set at 9" that puts the skimmer depth right at 7.5 inches which is ideal. Should work well for you, My 100 is cycling and been cycling with flake food and it still pulls gunk, I think it would pull gunk out of rodi water!!

After is probably fine. I should be home around 6:30.

Do you still have my phone number?
