HOB Skimmer Suggestions
So, I need to ask for some help..
A friend with a nice 75G, slightly overstocked, asked me for some help picking out a HOB skimmer. He's on a budget, so he balked at the MCE-600 or ATBs, I recommended. I may get him into a Rogue, but if not, can anyone throw out some decent, mid-priced ($200) HOB skimmers? I see reef-octopus makes a few; any reviews/thoughts on the HOBs? I've been into sumps, and BKs a bit too long, I guess. Thanks in advance for everybody's help... -Andy |

I believe that MSX has a great HOB skimmer but for 200 you will probably have to go used you can get a Deltic MCE 600 for 250 easily in the used forum. Rogue is another great skimmer.
