calibrating dual tds meter

It says they are factory calibrated so can I just hook it up to my unit and not worry about calibrating it?

My two dual TDS meter were very far from calibrated I have the 342 soultion and they were reading 505 and 416. HM Digital said they could drift from storgage or being shipped so I read directions and they said shoud be at 10% below if just dipping and right on if at a flow, What I did was hooked them to a piece of ro tube and to a mini jet power head to a small cup so the soultion was flowing like water would and then dialed them in, I have learned not to trust anything you cant controll, better off checking them for like $4.00 you will sleep better at night..
