Baby snails and copepods?????????
noticed the last few days what looked like almost microscopic snails just like tiny moving white specs. now today i can clearly see that i have hundreds of what look like baby turbo snails all over my live rock
my question is will scarlet, blue leg hermits or coral banded shrimp eat my copepods or the little snails ? my clowns don't seem interested in them at all also there are some pointed unicorn looking baby snails not sure what these are called?if anyone knows ????please share |

One question mark will usually get the point across that you have a question.

Look up Collonista snails and Pyramid snails. That may be what you're seeing. The first are pretty harmless, except they multiply quickly, and some people find them unattractive in large quantities. Pyramid snails are predatory and will prey on clams if you have any or even your other snails. Rissoid snails also look very similar to Pyramid snails and are often misidentified as such. Anyway, those are just guesses based on your descriptions.
On another note, if you remove the snails from the tank to take a picture, usually you can get a decent shot of even very small snails. If you're using a point and shoot, they generally have a macro mode (usually depicted by an icon of a flower) that will allow you to move the camera a little closer for a better picture.
