Light on Vortech control box- aircraft are circling my house!

Seriously, has anyone else found the light to be on the extreme side of brightness. I have my MP10 set on long pulse mode and the flashing light looks like the approach end of runway 9R at Chicago OHare. To tone things down I have put two layers of white electrical tape over the light. This has helped, is there any way to dim the unit by programming it?

Also, in long pulse mode my light is pink during the flow and green during the ebb, is this correct?

peace
R

I thought I was the only one who minded that. I moved mine to the back of the stand. I only use reef creast mode so if no one else has answered I will check it when I get home.

Thanks for checking, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks it is intense-

Neither of mine has ever bothered me. Might be because I dont use pulse modes so my lights just stay on.

Really? I have mine mounted a few feet from my bed and it doesn't bother me at all.

Instead of using that white tape, I'd suggest black electrical tape. Problem solved!

That was my first idea, but I need to see the lights to make sure it is not sending any error codes. I guess after a week or so when the unit has proved stable I could us black tape or remount it inside the stand.

You could use window tint found at any autoparts store.
