what to dose was useing DT's Pure Reef Elements not selling any more
what should I dose I was doseing reef elements 3 stage thing had alk mg and cal
they are not makeing this anymore I guess I think I am going to go with seacheam reef buffer for ph reef complete for calcuim Is this all I need to dose Or should I go another route by the way this will be all hand dosed I have no doser or anything like that |

why not just buy calcium and magnesium chloride and some baking soda?

Those product are okay. The tank might need some magnesium supplement, but some testing will let you know whether it's required.

Looking on seachems web site I dont see a mag do they mix it in with something else

Their magnesium supplement isn't very good. Most of the other brands are better ionically balanced. SeaChem's is mostly epsom salt.

who is a recomended brand that I can go with and use all there stuff and by the way the cheaper the better

If you want to save some money, Bulk Reef Supply sells chemicals to mix up a 2-part that's inexpensive and very easy to make. They also sell magnesium chloride in bulk.
If you want to stay with brands, I've used Kent Tech-M and Salifert for magnesium supplementation, and they're both fine. Warner and other suppliers are okay, too. Only SeaChem seems to be a problem.
