Sump for 1200 gallon system.

My frag setup is over 1200 gallons of water volume, this is spread over 20 different size tanks. The skimmer has its own 150 gallon brute sump, my question is how many pounds of LR do I need to keep system clean? Considering plywood/pond liner combo for 12' x 3' x 2' "coffin" live rock sump (will be on floor-nervous about glass w rock). Any other ideas I am missing? Please share.

This might work, and can hold a lot of rock.

Ive read a few of the green house frag builds, and a couple of them dont use any live rock (i dont either, but im not on that scale....). Only the little bit of LR that is attached to corals and thats it.
