10 gallon frag tank
hi i am new to corals but i want to try fragging soft corals like xenia and zoos what do i need that won't braek the bank.

You can get away with a cheap set up for these corals. A 10 gal would be fine. Cycle it with a small bag of LS one or two small pieces of LR, a pc light fixture and a power head will do it add a cheap hob skimmer and you are in business. Probably could pull it off for under 200$ if you went with used equipment. Good luck.

For the xenia just put some small rocks right up next to the stalk of the parent colony. it will frag itself for you. same goes for green star polyps. I traded two green star polyp frags and a xenia for a nice two headed acan at my LFS. it is red with light blue streaks in it. The guy there has a big market for those type of easy softies.
