Need a new fuge light
I've been using a 13w pc with little macro growth (obviously), i'm looking to replace with something better for macro algae growth. I'd like to stay with flourescent since i'm getting MH for my display.

I use Coralife 24w 10k and have good results with it.

Go to lowes and get a bright effects spotlight cfl 23 watt=90 watt incandescent. Costs like $8 and then you need the screw on switch. Your macro will grow like wildfire. Make sure it is the 6500k. I believe blue packaging

+1, Get it from Lowe's. Look for the CF flood light. I have a 26-w flood light over my fuge, stuff grows like mad as long as I dose iron.
Melev discusses this light very well in this link: http://www.melevsreef.com/fuge_bulb.html
