Question Storing RODI water

I finally purchased an RODI unit So I have a few questions:

1. How long can you safely store RODI water for top offs?

2. Do you need to keep the water moving with a pump and/or airstone?

3. Do you keep the water heated to DT temp?

Thanks!

#1 at least a month I'd think

#2 you only need a powerhead or airstone on I for the first 24-48 hours if you premix it with salt. This keeps the clarity and the disolving of all the salt.

#3 yeah by heating it to you DT temp you minimize all temp shock on anything.

1) You can store RODI water for as long as you want really. Try and keep it in an opaque container with a sealed lid if keeping it stored for longer periods of time.

2) No, its not important to aerate top off water like it is when your doing water changes.

3) No, your top offs (even if you do them manually daily) should be small enough that you won't cause a temp fluctuation. Of course keep the water at room temp in the house. Don't go storing the resevoire in a shed outside is -40 weather and thaw the ice cube to add to the tank
