Aqua-medic auto top up watch out!

For a few weeks now everytime i put my hand in the tank i could feel a little tingle (electric shock) slow process but tracked it down to be my auto top up, it is an aqua-medic brand same as a dosing pump that requires regular greasing. Finally my safty switch triggered and the power went out. I have since pulled the motor out of the housing and have found what the problem is, slowly over a period of time the excess grease has been dripping down into the housing and and has built up large enough to cover all of the electrical wiring. So i am guessing that some type of conduction has taken place, once i cleaned it out all working fine again.

Just a note for those of you that use this type of pump
