Switching to TMPR salt, got a question...
I was using 50/50 mix of IO and Oceanic but I'm switching to TMPR to hopefully better match zeo parameters. Anyway, the IO and Oceanic salt were not at all hard or clumpy (unless you leave them open - doh) and could easily be scooped or poured but both buckets of TMPR I got are mostly stiff. I can scrape it loose easily but was just wondering if this is normal for TMPR and if not is there any problem with it? I was surprised because the TMOPR even has a liner bag to help seal things whereas the others do not.

Wow I don't think it's supposed to be hard like that, call the manufacture and they may send out a new one.

I am not personally familiar with that salt, but that does not seem normal to me. Where did you get it at? If you got it at a LFS, its possible it got moisture in it from all the humidity found in a LFS. I personally would not trust it and would see if you can return it for a refund and find some newer, fresher buckets.
HTH Good luck

I got it from DFS. I'll do some calling/emailing. Thanks for the input!
