A new 60 gallon tank

Hello Everyone on reef central
I am new and
I will like to introduce my self
I am Gerardo 21 years old , I live and study here on California but I am originally form Mexico city.
I been taking care of a nano-tank for over two years now, but now I upgrading to a 60 gallon tank

I already have some parts of my future 60 gallon tank, take a look at them:

I bought this 20 gallon sump for $50 is came with a bag of miracle mud, two compack lights for the refugium and a bulkhead.

This a used ASM G2

A used two little fishes phosban reactor.

Quite One pump, I think the 4000 unit

finally this my tank, is a 60 gallon acrilyc tank. I had to buffed it ip, and paint the stand and the canopy, I also put to overflows one on each corner, next I need to star the plumbing, What size of standpipe, should i used 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch?

Are you familiar with the beananimal overflow? I'm not sure how it may work in your case becuase you have two separate overflows. But it is definitely worth looking into. Here's the thread.

first you need to calculate your head loss and then use this calculator to determine what size you need.

+1 I had a 75 set up with bean animals design and loved it. it is a failsafe super quiet set-up and I would definitely recommend it as well.

I was thinking of buying two of this Durso Standpipes already made and just put one in each over flow. people say they are really quiet. what do you guys think?

those are fine, if you have some diy skills in ya you can easily make them yourself with plumbing you can get at home depot or lowes, and save yourself some money.
