feeding dendro
is it ok to feed a small piece of frozen shimp or fish to my dendro? I am out of regular food that my lfs sold me when I got this coral

Yes it is, or Mysis. Not sure what the LFS sold you, but shrimp, fish or mysis will be fine.

She's a big'un. I feed the display tank mysis and a various cube of either homemade mix, squid or whatever other variety I have. Occasionaly i spot feed the dendro, otherwise the flow brings the food to her I would imagine. She is about 5 months old.

I have found that smaller food is better. Maybe they are able to digest it better. In other words, a few small pieces of mysis or chopped up krill is better then a big piece of krill or clam.

I feed mine a mix of cyclopeeze, mysis, tiger pods, coral creole and oyster eggs. They absolutely love it. I always get a feeding resonse from them when I feed the tank.
