Refugium Lightning

So I have my new sump/fuge up and running. I have live rock in my fuge section and just added some cheato.

My question is how long should I run the lights in my fuge and also have heard to run them opposite the times the main display lights run.

Let me know your thoughts please.

Run them opposite of your main tank...by opposite i mean completly... when your DT lights are on...these are off... as soon as DT lights go off sump lights come on...simple as that... It will help stabilize the PH as well as provide enough lighting for your chaeto....

Some folks run the refuge light 24/7, but I don't have one so I haven't tried it yet.
