Pinkt Haitain Anemone Turning Brown
I have a pink haitain anemone in my 55 gal, lights are good and water quality is fine. It is mated with a maroon clown, who takes good care of it. Recently though it has been losing that white look to its tentacles and started to fade into a tan color.
I am a little nervous because a friend I have has the same anemone do the exact same thing. I am feeding it mysis and silversides but I suspect I am failing to give it a specific supplement. Any ideas? |

It is slowly regaining its internal algae --- which helps provide it with energy. When it was white it was bleached, and it is now returning to a healthier state.

Based on all I have been told, Todd is dead on. It was bleached but is doing better now.
