Comments on the UVL 454 T12 VHO Bulb?

Does anyone have any personal on-hand experience and comments on the UVL 454 T12 VHO Bulb?

Thanks

I have used it. I like it. It is brighter than the 03 blue and more of a royal blue color IMO versus the actinic look of an 03 blue bulb.

Both are good bulbs in my opinion. The main difference is the brightness (454 is brighter) and the blue look (454 is more royal blue, 03 is more violet)

Have one on and have had it for about 4 months and love it. I'll be putting 1 on my next set-up too.

I put one on my tank (all VHO) a few months ago, love it. Has much improved the overall color of the tank.

What type and Kelvin MH are you running with the 454's?

Also, do you think running the 454's and 03's at the same time would be too blue?

Thanks ---
Chris
