quick MH question

I just got a replacement MH bulb for my outer orbit HQI/T5 fixture. I got a 250 watt one (like the one before) and i got a 10,000K bulb (not sure what the factory bulbs that came in in were). It seems considerably less intense than the other bulb (the factory bulb). Is this a product of the different color spectrum or is it not firing properly or what? Thanks for the help!
Brendan

How long have you had the new bulb in there? It does take a little time for them to burn in. The Current bulb that comes with the fixture is usually a 10000K, but all bulbs differ in visible color. What bulb did you put in there?

The Reeflux MH's have more of a blue color then the current bulbs - could that be what's going on? If they don't seem bright at all, you may not have the bulb in the socket properly...
