Possible to silence pump...?

I am plumbing my new tank right now, and its pretty much done, its SILENT besides a slight hum from my return pump (ehiem 1260) It is possible to completely silence the pump? It seems to be vibrating the sump a little, causing the hum.

Jason,

Do you have the suction cups under the base of the pump? I don't know if the 1260 comes with them, my 1262 did not. They made a noticeable difference for me once installed. If you order them you need the attachment lugs to go with the suction cups.
