My pottasium level in my tank is low 181 and noticed that the clors on my Montis and acros started to fade a little so I had my water tested and sure enough the pottasium is very low. So I started to dose but I need to know what are the levels.

It's not clear how accurate the potassium kits are. I'd use a series of large (20%) water changes to fix the problem, if there is one.

I was hoping Bertoni would post here. Water changes with a reputable salt will replenish the trace elements, that way you don't run the risk of over dosing anything.

I started with Topic marine pro salt and the levels where at around 280 which where still low. Then I met the Tropic Marine sales person and said that the only difference between the Pro and Reg wast the Alkalinity, cause the pro is used more in Europe.Since I switched like an idiot the potassium dropped even lower to 181. I make weekly water changes so I guess I have to switch back to the pro.
