Matching overflow GPH.

I just started my 120 AGA with duel overflows. Used the AGA overflow kits on each side. Tank is LEVEL. My issue is the left side flows quicker then the right side. It there anyway to control the flow GPH? Adjusted up and down but no difference in gph. The reason I want to adjust the flow is my fuge will be on the left and skimmer on the right, I want less flow in on the fuge side. Just started it up and running today, thanks

Generally this is from a tank being out of level or one overflow being taller then the other. If your tank is level then it is probably one overflow has more opening in the teeth or is lower in the tank.

I have filed down overflows carefully to try and balance them out better but you have to be careful not to break the overflow teeth off.

Do you file the top of the over flow, or file the teeth to be deeper / longer?
