anyone know of any good online fish sites?
I came across saltwaterfishshop and wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with this vendor or any other vendor and has had a good experience? Any other links and experiences will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have done 3 group orders for the club from www.bluezooaquatics.com. They are very good. Shipping is free, >$100 right now.

I've heard alot of good things about DFS but confirm your order is coming from Wisconsin OR California. Not all livestock is available from both locations. If you order, consider going in with a couple of people to split shipping costs.

I just checked and bluezooaquatics does have free shipping on orders over 100$ like pufferpunk said. I am little hesitant on ordering from any other site other then liveaquaria but I will give this a try and see how it goes.

I have made one order from bluezooaquatics. Everything was tripple bagged, they gave me tubing and a suction cup for acclimation, some food, and a dropper of something to reduce stress (I think it is basically prime), and an acclimation guide.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them. |

petsolutions.com and thatfishplace.com as well...never ordered from them, but they are reputable in terms of dry goods.

Yes, it's the Bluezoo mix. Where are you located? I'd like another one & have a credit with them.

I am in Elgin. Not sure if I am placing the order yet because I some of the fish that I wanted are out of stock. I will let you know tomorrow though. I will definitely give that food a try if I end up ordering.

They were smart to give out freebies of that stuff. I would have never had thought to try it.

With every order you get an acclimation kit & a small sample of food. Not much... just enough to get you hooked--like the neighborhood dealer.

I will give the sample a try before I buy some. I checked the delivery date and I can get the shipment on Wednesday hopefully.
Are you looking to just buy one? any specific size? I can add to the order tomorrow probably if you want one. They don't charge shipping on dry goods with the live order do they since its free for up 100$?

Only if they can squeeze it in with the wet stuff. You'll have to tell them to use my credit for it though. The 8oz is fine, unless you can get the 16oz but it looks to be out of stock.

okay so how will I add your order into this? Do I just add it and in the notes right only to take that amount out from your credit for the food?

I'd call them--ask for Mike, he knows about my credit or email him at: mike@bluezooaquatics.com. I'd also order one for yourself. Your fish & corals will love it, I guarantee you! If not, I'll buy it from ya.

lol I can't call them on weekends because their hours are only for the weekdays but I will email him right now.
The thing is, its saying there is no free shipping for the food and its charging an extra 7$ for shipping for the food...

That's why you need to contact Mike. He will fit it into the order--the computer cannot do this.
