HEY-OOH weird colors!
Alright, I have this baby blonde naso that is only 3-4 inches long. He has very dark coloration, so much so that it is hard to see him against the black background. The strange part is, he is an extremely healthy fish that eats everything (spirulina brine, mysis, spectrum pelets, and live macro).
I have never had this small of a tang, and I am just wondering if he will color up, and how long to do so. Almost forgot, he has a much lighter color, like a normal blonde naso, at night. Thanks guys |

Sounds exactly backwards to me. Normally, they assume they darker colouration at night...as do a lot of other fish.
If he is really small, that would probably be his juvenile colour pattern you are seeing. He/she will change rather quickly to adult pattern and you won't see those colours any more.
